Who We Are

Browning Build Group are renovation and new-build specialists dedicated to creating homes that perform as beautifully as they look.

About Browning Build Group

At Browning Build Group, we bring over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, delivering high-quality new homes, renovations, and extensions across the Southern Highlands and Greater Sydney. Our foundation is built on trust, craftsmanship, and long-term relationships with local trades who share our commitment to excellence.

We’ve worked alongside many of the Southern Highlands’ leading subcontractors, developing a team culture where everyone holds the same high standards of workmanship, safety, and site presentation. Our trusted network—carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and specialist trades—have been carefully selected for their skill, professionalism, and reliability. Together, we deliver consistent results and finish every project to the quality our clients expect.

We believe every successful project begins with clear communication and genuine collaboration. From the first consultation through design, approvals, and construction, we focus on transparency and respect for your home and lifestyle. We maintain clean, organised worksites and keep homeowners informed every step of the way.

As members of the Sustainable Builders Alliance and the Australian Passive House Association, and by integrating leading project management systems like Wunderbuild, we ensure each build is efficient, compliant, and future-focused. Sustainability and performance are built into everything we do.

Partners & Trusted Suppliers

At Browning Build Group, we believe the strength of our work comes from the people and products behind it. Over more than 20 years in construction, we’ve built solid relationships with local trades, suppliers, and industry organisations who share our standards for quality, reliability, and integrity.

We’re proud members of the Australian Passive House Association (APHA) and the Sustainable Builders Alliance (SBA) — both leading the shift toward healthier, energy-efficient homes. Their guidance helps us stay ahead of building standards and apply smarter, more sustainable methods on every project.

We also support TradeMutt and TIACS – This Is A Conversation Starter, two organisations doing important work for mental health in the construction industry. These partnerships reflect our belief that a strong building culture is built on people — not just materials.

For materials and finishes, we work with suppliers we know and trust:

high-performance membranes and tapes for airtightness and moisture control, essential for energy-efficient homes.

What Matters Most to Homeowners in the Southern Highlands

Renovating in the Highlands brings unique challenges. Here’s what local homeowners care about most — and how Browning Build Group addresses them:

• Comfort in a Cold Climate – Many older homes in the Highlands struggle with insulation and heating. We improve energy efficiency through upgraded insulation, airtightness and material selection suited to the local climate.

• Hidden Structural or Compliance Issues – Renovations can reveal unseen defects like damp or non-compliant framing. We conduct detailed inspections and maintain compliance at every stage of your build.

• Navigating Local Councils & Heritage Requirements – Many Highlands homes have heritage overlays or vegetation controls.
We handle local council liaison, planning approvals and heritage-sensitive renovations with experience and care.

• Budget Control & Transparency – Homeowners fear cost blowouts and shifting timelines. We provide detailed, transparent cost breakdowns and clear schedules before work begins.

• Minimising Disruption During Works – Many clients continue living at home during renovations. We manage dust, noise and access carefully, maintaining respect for your home and daily routine.
